How are the items shipped to ensure freshness?
All Porto's Bake at Home products are shipped frozen in insulated coolers with dry ice to maintain their quality and temperature during transit.
Can I bake the pastries directly from the freezer?
Yes, most of our signature pastries are designed to be baked directly from the freezer; however, some items may require a short thawing period. Specific instructions are included with every order.
Where do you ship within the United States?
We currently ship to all 50 states. Please note that shipping to Hawaii and Alaska may incur additional transit fees due to expedited air requirements.
What should I do if my order arrives thawed?
If your items arrive completely thawed or warm to the touch, please contact our guest services immediately. Do not consume the products if the dry ice has completely evaporated and the items are at room temperature.
Do you offer any gluten-free or vegan options?
At this time, we do not have a dedicated gluten-free or vegan line for Bake at Home. We are constantly working on new recipes and hope to offer more dietary-specific options in the future.
Can I change my delivery date after placing an order?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, changes to the delivery date must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled ship date to ensure your order is handled correctly.
